webmaster's note: SFBANTA Member Anthony Thorne (NT42-Carmen) was a Canadian Coast Guard Auxiliary unit leader (commander) of a unit trained extensively in Search and Rescue tasking in conjunction with the local Coast Guard regular unit. The unit acquired and operates a 28ft fully SAR equipped RHIB (Rigid Hulled Inflatable Boat).
